Bridging the Education Gap – How You Can Help

Updated: Nov 22

The conversation around culturally responsive education is one of urgency. Now, more than ever, we need to invest in educational models that reflect the diverse histories and experiences of our youth.

We invite you to be part of the solution.

Jermaine Blount, Jr., A.L.I. Scholar; Shazel Muhammad, Founder; Ifa Tella, A.L.I. Scholar; Jermaine Blount, Sr., A.L.I. Chaperone, and Sister Verdaya Mitchell-Brown, A.L.I. Chaperone meet local youth from Boti Falls, Eastern Region, Ghana.

This Giving Tuesday, African Link Initiative is raising funds to support our newest cohort of 15 students in the 9th grade. With your help, we can continue to create programs that foster identity, belonging, positive mental health, and academic success for Black youth.

Just $5 per month can make a difference in ensuring that our future leaders receive the education and cultural-affirmation they deserve. Will you join us in creating a brighter, more equitable future?
